The Corel database containing 700 images was used, which was labelled manually with eight predefined concepts. The concepts are “building”, “car”, “autumn”, “rural scenery”, “cloud”, “elephant”, “lion”, and “tiger”. In order to assess the accuracy of the classification, a performance evaluation based on the amount of missed detections (MD) and false alarms (FA) for each class from the large dataset of the Corel database was conducted.
